About Community Supportive Housing
Community Supportive Housing provides supported accommodation and housing services across Birmingham and surrounding areas. We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Gardener / Grounds Maintenance Operative to help maintain the outdoor areas of our properties to a high standard, ensuring safe, clean, and welcoming environments for our tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Grass cutting, hedge trimming, and general garden upkeep
- Maintaining clean and tidy outdoor spaces across properties
- Removing garden waste and rubbish
- Weed control and seasonal maintenance
- Reporting maintenance or health & safety concerns
- Supporting the wider maintenance team when required
- Ensuring all properties remain presentable and inspection ready
Requirements
- Previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience preferred
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good work ethic and attention to detail
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Basic handyman or maintenance skills are beneficial
