We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead the registration, mobilisation and ongoing operation of our first supported accommodation service. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a new organisation from the very beginning and play a key role in establishing an outstanding service and culture.
The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, management and regulatory compliance of the service. You will ensure that young people receive high-quality, person-centred support in a safe, nurturing and aspirational environment.
Working closely with the Directors, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the service while helping develop systems, policies and a positive organisational culture that reflects MAP Care Group's values.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the registration and mobilisation of the supported accommodation service.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Ofsted Supported Accommodation Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Provide effective leadership, supervision and support to the staff team.
- Promote a positive, relationship-based and trauma-informed culture throughout the service.
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing and positive outcomes of all young people.
- Develop and maintain high-quality care planning, risk management and safeguarding practices.
- Recruit, induct, supervise and develop staff.
- Maintain staffing rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Monitor quality assurance systems and drive continuous improvement.
- Build positive relationships with local authorities, social workers, families and partner agencies.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Ensure accurate recording, reporting and documentation.
- Lead investigations, complaints and safeguarding concerns where required.
- Foster an environment that promotes independence, education, employment and community participation for young people.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who shares our vision of delivering exceptional support while helping shape the future of MAP Care Group.
You will ideally have:
- Experience managing supported accommodation, children's residential care or a similar regulated service.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and trauma-informed practice.
- Experience leading and developing staff teams.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Confidence working collaboratively with commissioners, local authorities and external professionals.
- The ability to make sound decisions and lead under pressure.
- A commitment to achieving positive outcomes for young people.
Essential Requirements
- Eligible to become the Registered Manager with Ofsted.
- Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management (or willingness to complete if appropriate).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Enhanced DBS check.

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
