PHL have an opportunity for a Senior Urgent Care Co-Ordinator to join our team on a part time basis up to 30Hrs per week.
PHL are commissioned by Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board to deliver Integrated Urgent Care services across Staffordshire.
Working times will be variable between Monday-Sunday 18:30 - 08:00
As a Senior Urgent Care Co-Ordinator, you will join an established team of Clinical and Operational staff and support the OOH service provision across Staffordshire on your designated shift. The post holder will be required to;
- Ensure the highest quality of service delivery for PHLs patients
and maximise resource utilisation.
- Escalate any concerns to clinical counterparts for support.
- Conduct ‘Patient Safety Calls’ (PSC) as per policy and escalate
concerns to clinical counterparts as required.
- Actively monitor, evaluate and report on the services
performance.
- Provide support to counterparts, team leaders and the
Operations Manager where required.
- Ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
- Closely monitoring the telephone advice queue and allocate
calls promptly according to call time and priority.
- Have operational oversight of the Telephone Advice, Face-to
Face and Home Visiting services across Staffordshire on your
designated shift by ensuring patient cases are allocated
appropriately.
- Supporting Urgent Care co-ordinators with their induction and ongoing training.
- Ensuring operational staff fully understand the importance of their role in ensuring effective, efficient, caring and positive delivery of services to our patients.
Requirements:
- NVQ level 3, or equivalent or significant relevant work experience.
- The ability to be compassionate, with the ability to interact positively with team
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong IT skills, including working across the Microsoft Office platform and patient administration systems.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- The ability to work to deadlines and prioritise a mixed work load.
- Be able to handle difficult situations in a calm, effective and professional manner.
- An understanding of the confidential nature of our work.
Pay: £13.43-£14.77 per hour
