Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Head Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness and organisation of our hotel and team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a background in commercial cleaning. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team in maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation across our premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. The Head Housekeeper will be responsible for coordinating daily cleaning operations, managing staff schedules, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules that meet the organisation’s standards and requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to policies.
- Train new staff members in proper cleaning techniques, health & safety procedures, and company policies.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Liaise with management to address any issues related to cleanliness or maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, and continuous improvement within the cleaning team.
Experience
- Experience in commercial cleaning.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and liaise with management.

Pay: £13.25-£13.50 per hour
