Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Bar & Events Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of bar operations and special events, ensuring an exceptional experience for guests. You will assist in supervising staff, maintaining high standards of food safety and service, and fostering a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily bar operations, including overseeing food and beverage service, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Support event planning by coordinating logistics, setup, and execution of various functions and gatherings.
- Supervise and motivate team members, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff, to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards across all food preparation and service areas.
- Contribute to menu development by providing input on drink selections, culinary offerings, and presentation styles.
- Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies; assist with ordering and stock management.
- Promote a positive team environment through leadership, training, and ongoing support for staff development.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a hospitality setting such as a restaurant or hotel.
- Extensive restaurant experience with strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Previous experience working in barista roles or bar management is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead diverse groups effectively.
- Knowledge of culinary practices including food production and kitchen operations.
- Experience in serving guests in fast-paced environments with excellent hospitality skills.
- Familiarity with event coordination processes and bar operations is a plus.
