Job Title: Maintenance Assistant (Hotel)
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Maintenance Assistant to support the day-to-day maintenance operations of our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out basic repairs, preventive maintenance, and ensuring that hotel facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained to provide an excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs in guest rooms and public areas.
- Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
- Conduct preventive maintenance checks on hotel equipment and facilities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff.
- Report major repair requirements to the Maintenance Manager.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hotel maintenance standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
- Support emergency maintenance activities whenever required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
