About the Role:
KASE Care is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Children’s Support Worker to join our team in the Enfield area. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to children aged 0-18 with various conditions, including mild autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, mental health challenges, complex medical needs, and child protection plans. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting children and young people in a variety of settings, promoting their social and emotional development, and enhancing family relationships.
This specific job role is for 2 service users to help assist their parents / guardians with their daily routines and providing school transport support for a child in Enfield, including school pick-up and drop-off. The children benefit from structured routines, calm support, and engaging play-based learning. We are looking for someone who is patient, nurturing, and able to build positive relationships with children with additional needs. A full UK driving licence is essential, as you will be required to drive to school pick-ups, activities, and outings.
Children’s Support Needs
Serivce user 1:
They require support with:
- Structured daily routines
- Personal care including:
- showering
- brushing teeth
- dressing
- Feeding and mealtime routines
- Communication using simple words and physical cues
- Play-based learning and developmental activities
- Emotional reassurance when routines change
- Supervision always, particularly outdoors
They respond best to consistency, calm reassurance, and structured routines.
Service user 2:
The additional child also has Autism Spectrum Disorder and requires support with:
- School pick-up and drop-off
- Safe supervision during travel
- Emotional reassurance and structured routines
- Support accessing the community and activities when required
Key Responsibilities
- Support children with daily routines and activities
- Assist with personal care tasks where required
- Provide school preparation and school pick-ups
- Drive children safely to and from school or activities
- Encourage learning through play and engagement
- Provide emotional reassurance and behavioural support
- Maintain a safe and structured environment
- Communicate with parents and follow family guidance
- Complete accurate care notes and reports
- Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing at all times
Requirements
- Female applicants only (Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010)
- Experience working with children or young people preferred
- Experience supporting children with autism desirable
- Full UK driving licence required
- Reliable and confident driver
- Calm, patient, and nurturing personality
- Ability to follow structured routines
- Strong communication skills
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK

Mandatory Induction Training:
All successful candidates are required to attend a 1 to 5-day mandatory induction held at our head office in Loughton, IG10 4BL.
Induction is held during the first full week of each month.
It must be attended in full within the same week – it cannot be split across different months.
The induction includes training in moving and handling, first aid, company procedures, and CQC compliance.
