We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team in a bustling pub/restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes as per the restaurant's menu
- Oversee food production processes to ensure high-quality standards are met
- Supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
- Assist in stock management and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
Skills:
- Proficient in kitchen operations and culinary techniques
- Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate team members
- Experience in food preparation and handling
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy restaurant environment
