Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver
We are looking for two motivated Warehouse Operatives / Forklift Drivers to join our growing team on a long-term basis.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse role within a busy paint manufacturing and distribution environment. We are looking for people who are reliable, self-motivated and happy working both as part of a team and independently who want to achieve something in life turning up learning and growing for a better job .
Key Responsibilities
- General warehouse duties across a busy working environment
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
- Filling and packing paint products for dispatch — full training will be provided
- Preparing pallets and individual orders for delivery
- Picking stock from warehouse shelves and securely packing orders
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Stock management and maintaining an organised warehouse
- Carrying out routine mechanical checks on equipment, including forklifts and filtering equipment
- Keeping the warehouse and working areas clean, safe and organised
- Working alongside existing team members to maintain a high level of productivity and service
Training & Experience
Previous experience in this specific industry is not required. Full training will be provided, and you will work alongside experienced members of our team while learning the role.
However, at least 12 months’ warehouse experience is preferred, particularly experience working in a busy warehouse environment.
A valid forklift licence is essential.
This is a physical and fast-paced working environment. The team works at a good pace throughout the day, so this role is not suited to someone looking for an easy or quiet warehouse job. We are looking for someone who is willing to get stuck in, work hard and take pride in their work.

Pay: £25,420.00 per year
