The Senior Specialist, Process Excellence is a technical and operational lead
responsible for the day-to-day management and global optimization of employee-
facing services. Reporting to the Manager, International Process Improvement ,
this role operates as a standalone lead with two primary pillars of focus: the
management of the Global Fleet program and the support of DACH (Germany,
Switzerland, Austria) Business Operations . The role will work across all Insulet
geographies.
This work will suit an operational consultant who is keen to take accountability for
global processes, deliver the work while simultaneously reducing the complexity
through simplification and automation. Ultimately, we would like this person to
package the work so it can be handed to someone more junior, freeing this role to
work on other process improvements for the international division.
The incumbent is an operational architect who ensures that service delivery is
seamless and compliant, while actively identifying opportunities to document and
improve global workflows.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Fleet Service Management
• End-to-End Lifecycle Coordination: Manage the full lease lifecycle, from
initial vehicle selection and procurement through to contract conclusion and
return.
• Operational Continuity: Execute the vehicle "swap-over" process to ensure
zero downtime for field employees and manage end-of-lease returns to
minimize financial recharges.
• Vendor & Policy Governance: Lead the day-to-day KPI management of
global leasing partners and support HR in the governance of Global Fleet
Policies.
• Global Blueprinting: Maintain and update the "Global Service Blueprint" for
Fleet operations to ensure consistency in employee experience and data
integrity across regions.
2. Compliance, Audit & Data Integrity for Fleet
• Cross-Border Payroll Integration: Establish and oversee the audit rhythm
between Fleet data, Payroll, and Finance for all jurisdictions.
• Taxation & Deduction Oversight: Ensure Benefit-in-Kind (BiK) taxation and
local fringe benefit deductions are applied accurately across global regions,
with a specific focus on GSA compliance.
• Data Stewardship: Act as the "single source of truth" for service data,
providing reporting on financial performance, safety, and carbon footprint to
the Global Executive Team.
• Technology Utilization: Support the implementation and daily use of digital
tools (e.g., Fleet Management Systems) to automate administrative tasks.
3. GSA Business Operations Support
• Operational Hub: Provide dedicated support for GSA business operations,
ensuring that external documents and requests are processed timely and
accurately within Insulet.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as the primary bridge between regional
teams, HR, Payroll, Finance to facilitate the smooth flow of operational data
and documentation.
• Process Design: Work with regional teams and corporate functions to
document and streamline GSA-specific processes, reducing manual friction
while ensuring local market necessities are met.
Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
• Experience: 4+ years in Process Excellence, Global Operations, Consulting,
or Business Systems Design.
• Technical Skills: Proven ability to manage complex global workflows and
coordinate multi-stakeholder administrative tasks.
• Education: A good Bachelor’s Degree in any numerate subject.
• Methodology: Process Design, Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile certification is
preferred.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required; professional proficiency in
German is preferred to support GSA operations.
