Pay: £12.90 per hour
Who are we
We are currently looking to grow our dedicated team of Support Workers to work at our amazing locations Rowan House and Parkview based in Scarborough
Rowan House enables people with learning disabilities and complex care needs to live the life they choose. The people we support are at the centre of everything we do.
Parkview is a large home on the North Bay side of Scarborough, overlooking Peasholm Park. The property is within easy walking distance of the beach and many local amenities. Scarborough is a lively and popular holiday resort with great beaches and a harbour, dominated by its castle.

Whether it's a dance in the kitchen, a walk in the park, off to the local swimming baths, or a moment of calm during challenging behaviours, you’ll be making an impact that truly matters.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary depending on the needs of those you support, but will typically include:
- Supporting residents with personal care, mobility, and medication
- Assisting with household tasks, food preparation, and shopping
- Promoting independence through companionship
- Involved in activities, swimming, cinema, online shopping, booking spa days
- Recording care notes and assisting with healthcare plans
Shift Patterns:
Standard 12hr shifts, across days and nights. You must have flexibility to work weekends
(Rotas provided in advance for a great work-life balance!)
What We’re Looking For

- Strong communicators with great interpersonal skills
- Able to bring fun, energy, and compassion to every shift
- Team players who can also work independently
- Able to support those with complex needs such as:
- Behaviours of distress
- Mental Health conditions
- Learning Disabilities & Dyspraxia
- Personal Care & Medication
- Moving & Handling
Experience required: Minimum 1 year in a similar setting preferred, but not essential
Training: full training will be provided!
Driving licence: Desirable, but not essential
