Overview
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Hairdressing Trainer/Assessor to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and develop future hairdressing professionals by delivering engaging training sessions and assessing learners’ progress. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong background in hairdressing, and the ability to effectively teach and assess learners to achieve their qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive training sessions in hairdressing techniques, including cutting, styling, colouring, and client consultation skills
- Embed Functional Skills in maths and English into vocational delivery.
- Assess learners’ practical skills and knowledge against national standards, providing constructive feedback to support their development
- Plan and organise training schedules that meet individual learner needs and program requirements
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress, attendance, and assessment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards
- Support learners through coaching and mentoring, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages confidence and skill mastery
- Ensure all training activities adhere to health and safety regulations within the salon environment
- Utilise IT tools effectively to deliver engaging lessons and track learner progress
Qualifications
- Level 2 & level 3 Hairdressing Qualifications
- Assessor Qualification
- Teaching Qualification
- Maths & English at Grade C/4 or equivalent.

Pay: £5,973.00 per year
