We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Technician to join our professional team. Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Mix and match colours accurately to achieve desired shades and finishes.
- Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats using spray guns or other painting equipment.
- Ensure all paintwork meets quality standards through thorough inspection.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely during the preparation and painting processes.
- Assist with vehicle assembly or disassembly as required during the painting process.
- Perform heavy lifting of vehicle parts or equipment safely as needed.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to vehicle repair and painting processes.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, and brushes.
- Experience with power tools used in automotive painting and surface preparation.
