Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Labourer/Renderer to join our dynamic construction team. As a Labourer/Renderer, you will play a vital part in supporting skilled tradespeople by preparing materials, assisting with insulating and rendering tasks, and ensuring the smooth progress of each project. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and mixing of rendering materials and mortar using hand tools and power tools
- Perform general labour duties such as lifting, carrying, and moving building materials safely and efficiently
- Help with surface preparation for rendering or masonry work, including cleaning and sanding surfaces
- Use hand tools and power tools to assist with insulating buildings and rendering tasks under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite by disposing of debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Support skilled tradespeople during complex tasks to ensure project timelines are met
Requirements
- Experience or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing, or welding is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to perform physical labour including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures at all times
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on diverse construction tasks
- Basic understanding of construction site safety regulations is advantageous
