Bathen House Hotel is looking for a passionate, motivated, and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef to join our friendly and dedicated team.
Set within a beautifully restored boutique hotel with just 13 luxury bedrooms, Bathen House prides itself on delivering exceptional hospitality. Our breakfast service showcases the finest seasonal ingredients sourced from trusted local suppliers, all prepared and presented to the highest standard.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys early mornings and values a healthy work-life balance. If you're looking for additional hours, there's also the opportunity to pick up housekeeping shifts, allowing you to build a fuller working week if desired.
What You'll Be Doing
- Take ownership of the breakfast service, ensuring every guest enjoys an outstanding start to their day.
- Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Organise mise en place and maintain excellent stock rotation, portion control, and waste management.
- Keep the kitchen, equipment, and work areas clean, organised, and compliant with food hygiene standards.
- Complete all required food safety and kitchen records accurately.
- Work closely with the wider hotel team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for food and hospitality.
- At least one year's experience working in a professional kitchen (full training and support provided).
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to remain calm in a busy service.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays when required.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- High standards of personal presentation and professionalism.
