Tempest Education is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Boston area in their search for a dedicated Year 5 Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a positive KS2 team and make a real impact on pupils during a key stage of their learning journey.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for a Year 5 class, delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that support progress across the KS2 curriculum. You will be expected to create a positive learning environment where pupils are challenged, supported, and encouraged to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
- Support pupil progress through effective assessment and feedback
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and needs
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Contribute to the wider school community and ethos
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
- Experience teaching within KS2 (Year 5 experience desirable)
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Passion for delivering engaging and creative lessons
- Commitment to pupil progress, wellbeing, and inclusion
- Reliable, reflective, and a strong team player
