Lifeguard Leisure - Leisure Centre
Lifeguard Grade 5 plus matrix payment for unsociable hours working,
Bury Leisure is looking to recruit 20 candidates to work as Lifeguard's on a permanent basis with 15 positions on a rota pattern including evenings and weekend and 5 annualised hours basis to cover when required. Rota's and working locations to be confirmed for all roles.

As a Lifeguard with Bury Council Leisure, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, safe and welcoming environment for all centre users. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help ensure the consistent delivery of excellent customer service and a positive customer experience throughout the centre.
You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure that all areas of the facility and associated activities are operated efficiently, effectively and in accordance with established procedures and standards.
This role is ideally suited to an individual who consistently demonstrates the highest personal and professional standards. You will lead by example, inspire those around you, and maintain an unwavering commitment to health, safety and customer service excellence.
We're looking for several lifeguarding professional who are ready to be part of something new, someone who combines technical excellence with a genuine passion for customer care and an uncompromising commitment to safety. Ideally with:

A valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or commitment to gain within 3 months of appointment.

Strong understanding and execution of pool safety issues and procedures

A high level of personal fitness to meet the physical demands of the role.

Outstanding communication skills able to engage confidently with customers, colleagues and all stakeholders.

Demonstrable experience in a customer-facing environment.

Excellent customer care skills and a natural ability to connect with and inspire swimmers and their families.
Safeguarding: This post involves working with children, young people and vulnerable adults. All successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and must be fully committed to safeguarding and always promoting welfare
