As a Service Delivery Engineer at MWI Animal Health, part of Cencora, you will play a key part in setting up and supporting our solutions within veterinary practices. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for installing hardware, configuring systems, and supporting customers both remotely and on-site — ensuring everything is working effectively from day one and beyond. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid IT support background who enjoys a mix of technical work, customer interaction, and travel, all while making a real difference to animal care worldwide.
Location – Remote (Ideally South of Birmingham), with regular travel to customers
Salary – £32,000 + Car Allowance + Annual Bonus
Working hours – 40 hours per week, Mon–Fri with some flexibility based on customer demand
Key Responsibilities
Supporting customer onboarding, installations, and system setups
Installing and configuring hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals)
Setting up software including Microsoft 365 and antivirus tools
Troubleshooting technical issues across hardware, software, and basic networks
Supporting escalated queries from 1st Line support
Assisting with cloud-based setups (e.g. Azure or similar platforms)
Supporting integrations and third-party systems
Visiting customer sites to install, test, and resolve issues
Maintaining clear documentation and knowledge articles

Skills and Experience Required
Essential:
Experience in IT support, service delivery, or technical support roles
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Ability to manage your own workload and priorities
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
Nice to Have (but not essential):
Exposure to Microsoft 365 environments
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN)
Any experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure)
Field-based or customer onboarding experience
Familiarity with ticketing or service tools
