About the Role
Job Type: Full time (Monday – Thursday 7am – 5pm)
We are a fast-paced contract manufacturing business producing high-quality products for a diverse client base. We are looking for a detail-focused Production Operative to manufacture bulk alcohol and surfactant based products in line with strict client specifications, quality standards, and production deadlines.
This role requires accuracy, accountability, and a strong understanding of working within controlled manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the production team to ensure bulk manufacturing is completed in line with client deadlines and production schedules
- Manufacture bulk products from raw materials in accordance with approved formulations and client specifications
- Accurately record and track the movement of raw materials and finished goods within the department for full traceability
- Chill, filter, and process products in line with specific client and batch requirements
- Ensure all production activities meet required quality standards and internal procedures
- Identify, tag, and isolate non-conforming or defective materials in line with company procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised, and audit-ready workspace and ensure all equipment is properly cleaned after use
- Complete all batch records and production documentation accurately and in real time
- Adhere strictly to Health & Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines
- Report any product, material, or process concerns to the Quality Manager promptly
- Monitor stock levels of raw materials and notify the buyer when replenishment is required
Requirements
- Experience in a contract manufacturing, production, or processing environment (highly desirable)
- Understanding of batch production, traceability, and working to client specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance
- Ability to complete documentation accurately and follow strict procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Awareness of GMP, quality systems, or regulated environments (advantageous)
