Woods Bros Cleaning Contractors is looking for an experienced Area/Operations Manager to join their team, the role is responsible for the day to day operations across multiple locations throughout the North East, leading a team of supervisors and cleaning staff to continue delivering excellent standards for our clients.
The role will be based out of our Middlesbrough office from Monday to Friday.
You will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the daily operations across multiple locations throughout the region.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to maintain high service standards.
- Recruit, Train and manage supervisors and cleaning staff.
- Manage staff shift schedules, absences and performance.
- Promote a positive working culture focused on teamwork and accountability.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and conducting regular meetings to review performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage budgets and equipment usage across locations.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning operations, health & safety standards, and compliance.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Proven experience in cleaning operations, facilities management, or a similar operational role.
- Full UK driving licence.
