Job Summary
We are looking to take on an additional 2 window cleaning operatives to join our team. This job requires the candidate to drive a company van so a driving licence for 1 of the candidates is essential
We use traditional window cleaning methods (no reach and wash) so being able to use a squeeguee, T bar, yellow glass scarpers and scrim cloth
As a business our main clients are newly built housing estates - so the safe removal of glue and mortar is sometimes required. We also do some domestic work for the house builders such as final cleans and show homes
We safely use ladders to reach ground floor and 1-level-up only
The use of a company vehicle and fuel card is provided by the company to get you to and from work. Our operating area is Glasgow and surrounding areas
8am on site start
Responsibilities
- Traditional window cleaning operative required for new build housing
- Correct use of ladders for traditional window cleaning - 1 up only. No flats/tenements
- Clean windows thoroughly inside and outside - removal of glue/cement from frames and glass.
- Fill in time sheet to correspond with workload
- Keep company vehicle in a satisfactory condition
Experience
- Previous experience in window cleaning using traditional methods
- Being confident using ladders to go 1 level up
- UK driver’s licence
Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 22.5 – 36.5 per week
