Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our home to School team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely service to our clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals to work dueing school term time only. It is a split shift delivering pupils to school. The position requires a valid UK driver licence and a strong commitment to safety of passengers
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company home to school vehicles, in accordance with traffic laws and company policies
- Deliver pupils to school promptly
- Communicate effectively with head office and team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during transit
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Complete all necessary documentation, training and enhanced DBS prior to driving independently.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times during operations
Qualifications
- D1 on licence desirable but not essential
- Valid UK driver licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in safeguarding desirable
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality service
