The City of Lincoln Council is looking for a Multi-Skilled Joiner to join our Housing Repairs Service (HRS) based at Hamilton House. You will be responsible for installing level access showers, widening doors, and making minor adaptations such as fitting grab handles and stair rails. As well as undertaking general repair and maintenance tasks including bathroom and kitchen repairs and installations.

The role will be full time (37hrs per week Mon-Fri) and permanent. Standby and overtime opportunities are also available, in addition to flexible working options in which core hours and work patterns will be discussed at interview.
Candidates must have a full driving licence.
Key responsibilities:
- Install walk-in showers, including tiling, plumbing work, and floor work.
- Installations of over-bath showers, including tiling and plumbing works.
- Kitchen and bathroom repairs / upgrades
- Undertake core trade tasks in both occupied and void properties when required.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in a similar multi-skilled role, preferably in aids and adaptations.
- Proficiency in the core trade of Joiner.
- CSCS Card or willing to undertake training.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to develop technical skills and adapt to changing technologies.
