Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer or Property Solicitor looking for a fresh opportunity in a growing team?
We’re looking for a proactive and client-focused Residential Conveyancer / Property Solicitor to join our busy Conveyancing Department and help deliver a high-quality service to clients buying, selling, and remortgaging their homes.
- Full-time, office-based role - hybrid/work from home considered
- Residential conveyancing experience essential
- Strong client care, attention to detail essential
You’ll be handling a range of residential property matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages and transfers of equity
- New build and Help to Buy matters
- Title checks, enquiries, and reporting to clients
- Managing files from instruction through to completion
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and lender requirements
This role would suit someone who is confident managing their own caseload, works well in a busy environment, and takes pride in delivering a professional and personable service. We’re looking for someone who is approachable, organised, and keen to play a key part in a friendly and experienced Conveyancing team
Essential Skills
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive, or experienced Residential Conveyancer
- Strong experience handling a residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Experience of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently under pressure
- Good IT skills and experience using case management systems
- Professional, reliable, and team-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
Desirable Skills
- Experience dealing with new build transactions
- Experience of shared ownership or Help to Buy matters
- Familiarity with lender panel requirements and post-completion processes
- A following would be advantageous, but is not essential
