Multi-Skilled Tradesman

Diamond Construction is a reputable and professional construction company based in Cheshire. We specialise in extending and improving homes, including extensions, loft conversions, bespoke new builds and renovations, and we are the preferred contractor for a Trust of Primary and Secondary Schools, across Cheshire and North Staffordshire.
Job Purpose:
We are looking for a multi-skilled tradesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate must be competent to perform a variety of skilled tasks across multiple trades, ensuring high-quality workmanship to complete maintenance, repair, and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of skilled trade and general labouring duties
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Follow drawings, specifications, and building codes to ensure accurate and high-quality work
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to complete assigned tasks
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled tradesperson or in a similar role
- Proficiency in carpentry, masonry, painting, plumbing, and other related trades
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good physical condition to handle the demands of the job
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- A full UK driving licence is required
- Applicants must have their own reliable vehicle and be able to travel between sites across Cheshire and North Staffordshire
- Applicants must provide their own suitable hand tools and power tools for their trade
- The vehicle must be suitable for transporting the tools and materials required to complete the work
Salary dependent on experience.
