Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Waiter to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional guest service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience
- Ensure all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, are adhered to at all times
- Clear tables promptly and assist with setting up for subsequent guests
- Handle cash or electronic payments accurately and issue receipts as required
- Maintain a clean, organised work station and assist with general restaurant upkeep as needed
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the industry
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and basic food preparation techniques is beneficial
- Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience can be an asset
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes and upselling opportunities
- Good organisational skills to ensure smooth service flow and maintain cleanliness standards

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
