Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Croydon
Eden Childcare Nursery & Preschool is looking for a passionate, caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team in Croydon.
We are looking for someone who is committed to providing high-quality care and education and who enjoys helping young children learn, develop and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to children aged 3 months–5 years.
- Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Plan and support fun, stimulating and age-appropriate activities.
- Support children's learning, development and individual needs.
- Carry out observations and contribute to children's learning journeys.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
- Act as a Key Person and maintain strong relationships with allocated children and their families.
- Support children's personal care, mealtimes, sleep routines and daily activities.
- Promote positive behaviour, independence and confidence.
- Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment.
- Follow all safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies.
- Work effectively as part of a team and communicate professionally with colleagues and parents.
- Attend staff meetings, training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS and child development.
- Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
- Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 45.0 per week
