We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and reliable Dance and Musical Theatre Teacher to lead engaging after-school clubs for primary school children from September.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about performing arts and enjoys inspiring young people through dance, drama, and musical theatre. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering fun, age-appropriate sessions that encourage creativity, confidence, teamwork, and performance skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging dance and musical theatre lessons for primary-aged children.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Adapt activities to suit different ages, abilities, and experience levels.
- Prepare children for informal performances and showcases where appropriate.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils during sessions.
Essential Requirements
- Experience teaching or leading activities for children, ideally within a school, theatre, dance, or performing arts setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to plan structured, engaging lessons tailored to different age groups.
- A positive, energetic, and professional approach.
- Reliability and punctuality.

- This is a self-employed position.
- An enhanced DBS check is required. If you do not currently hold one, we can arrange this for the successful applicant.
- Competitive rates of pay, dependent on experience.
Pay: £20.00-£30.00 per hour
