Overview
Next Level Camps is seeking a proactive and organised Camp Leader to oversee the daily running of our Summer Holiday Camp in Fareham.
As Camp Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating staff, supporting activity delivery and ensuring the camp operates safely and efficiently each day. You will act as the main point of contact for parents, staff and visiting providers, helping to create a welcoming and well-run environment for all campers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with leadership experience in education, camps or youth programmes who enjoys managing a dynamic and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the holiday camp.
- Manage student registration and daily attendance.
- Support and coordinate the team of instructors and activity leaders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians during camp hours.
- Ensure activities run according to the daily schedule and programme plan.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, safety and organisation across the site.
- Monitor staff performance and provide guidance where needed.
- Liaise with the Next Level Camps management team regarding updates or issues.
- Ensure the camp environment remains safe, welcoming and well organised.
Skills & Experience
- Experience working with children or young people in education, camps or youth settings.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Confident communicating with parents, staff and children.
- Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in a busy environment.
- Reliable, responsible and proactive.
- Experience leading teams or coordinating activities is highly desirable.

Contract length: 6 weeks
Pay: £13.50-£16.00 per hour
