Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Self Employed Courier to join our dynamic delivery team. As a courier, you will be responsible for transporting packages efficiently and safely to various destinations while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Pick up packages from designated warehouses or distribution centers, ensuring accurate documentation and handling.
- Deliver parcels promptly to residential and commercial addresses, adhering to scheduled routes and delivery times.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery times, package details, and any potential delays or issues.
- Handle packages with care, including heavy lifting and managing fragile items safely.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, timestamps, and any special instructions
- Manage your own schedule efficiently to maximize productivity and meet delivery targets.
Requirements
- Right to work in uk
- Valid driver’s license
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics operations is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy packages safely up to 17kg and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and coordinating deliveries effectively.
- Reliable transportation that meets safety standards for daily use in delivery operations.
