We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistants to join our catering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced football environment, supporting matchdays, hospitality events and private functions held at the club.
The Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our catering operation runs smoothly. Working alongside the Catering Manager and kitchen team, you will help prepare, serve and maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness and customer service.
No two days are the same, with duties ranging from supporting busy matchday service to assisting with private events and corporate hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of hot and cold food.
- Serve food and beverages to supporters, hospitality guests, players and staff.
- Prepare and package food for kiosks and hospitality areas.
- Ensure kitchen, food preparation and serving areas remain clean, organised and hygienic.
- Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Restock food, drinks and kitchen supplies.
- Receive and correctly store deliveries.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Support the Catering Manager during matchdays, events and functions.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties required to support the catering operation.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working in a kitchen, café, hospitality or catering environment.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience in customer service.
- Cash handling or till experience (desirable but not essential).
