Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team to carry out the cleaning at a Catering Warehouse - (Food Production) This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality cleaning services. Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial environments
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas in accordance with health and safety standards
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively and safely
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable for clients and staff
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to part-time hours
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting during shifts
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain high standards of cleanliness
