Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented UPVC Window Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role you will be representing our company so must be polite , courteous and well mannered , punctuality and communication is a must , you will be responsible for accurately measuring, fitting, and securing UPVC windows to enhance building aesthetics and energy efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, delivering high-quality results that stand the test of time. Driving License is essential .
Start time 7.15 at our office , own public liability , own van preferred can supply for the right candidate , own tools .
Responsibilities
- Measure window openings precisely to ensure proper fitment of UPVC windows
- Prepare installation sites by removing old fixtures and making necessary adjustments using hand tools and power tools
- Install UPVC windows securely, ensuring proper sealing and insulation for energy efficiency
- Use schematics and technical drawings to follow installation procedures accurately
- Operate construction equipment such as drills, saws and other hand held tools safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines
- Conduct quality checks post-installation to verify alignment, sealing, and overall finish
Requirements
- Proven experience in upvc/aluminium window and door installation essential minimum 5 years with references
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and schematics reading
- Knowledge of construction preferred
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights safely
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and regulations
- Additional skills such as carpentry will be considered advantageous
