We are now seeking a creative and motivated Customer Experience and Student Support Assistant to help strengthen our digital presence and global brand awareness, increase engagement, and support our expanding international community of learners.
Position Summary & Role Overview
As a Customer Experience & Student Support Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer and student experience across our UK and international markets. You will be the first point of contact for customer and student enquiries from around the world, providing professional, friendly and responsive support throughout the entire journey.
You will manage and coordinate the end-to-end student experience, ensuring that every customer receives the highest level of service and that all products and services are delivered smoothly and efficiently.
The role will include responsibility for a wide range of administrative, customer service and logistical activities, ensuring that students are fully supported from initial enquiry through to course completion.
You will also play an important role in sales and business growth, identifying opportunities to up-sell, generate new leads, support customer conversions and contribute towards achieving sales targets. Your ability to understand customer needs and recommend the right products and services will be key to your success.
Alongside customer and student support, you will contribute to our social media engagement and digital presence, helping to increase brand awareness, engagement and course enrolments. This will include monitoring social media platforms, engaging with our audience, carrying out competitor analysis and identifying opportunities to strengthen our market position.
The successful applicant will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for innovative business growth solutions and refining customer journeys.
Key Focus Areas and Responsibilities
Customer Service & Student Support – Provide professional, friendly and responsive support to customers and students using all available communication channels, including telephone, email, WhatsApp, social media, online messaging and other digital platforms. Respond promptly to enquiries, provide accurate information, resolve queries effectively and ensure a consistently positive experience.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management – Build strong, professional relationships with customers and students, maintaining regular communication throughout their journey. Proactively engage with enquiries, follow up leads and ensure customers feel valued, supported and informed from initial contact through to completion.
UK & International Customer Experience – Deliver a consistently high standard of customer and student support across our UK and international markets, recognising different customer needs, expectations and communication requirements.
Sales, Up-selling & Lead Generation – Identify and maximise sales opportunities by understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate courses, products and services. Follow up enquiries and leads, support conversions, generate new sales opportunities and contribute towards achieving individual and company sales targets.
Student Journey & Experience – Manage and support the end-to-end student journey, ensuring students receive clear guidance, timely communication and effective support from initial enquiry through enrolment, course delivery and completion and feedback and testimonials.
Administration & Logistical Coordination –Complete all relevant customer and student administration and coordinate the logistical implementation of products and services, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
Social Media Engagement & Brand Visibility – Actively engage with customers and prospective students across social media platforms, responding to enquiries, encouraging interaction and helping to increase brand awareness, engagement and course enrolments.
Competitor & Market Analysis – Monitor competitors, industry trends, social media activity and customer expectations, identifying opportunities to improve our services, strengthen our market position and increase visibility and enrolments.
Analysis & Reporting – Monitor sales performance across the website and social media platforms, while analysing student and customer engagement across UK and international markets. Use analytics and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement, generate sales leads and inform future strategies, providing clear and concise sales and engagement reports for weekly Managing Director meetings and monthly stakeholder meetings.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service, student liaison and sales.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong customer relationship, organisational and customer journey management skills.
Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Confident using social media platforms, scheduling and digital marketing tools.
Proficient in WordPress and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
Strong IT skills with the ability to quickly learn relevant digital systems.
Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage
