About the Role
As a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting individuals experiencing common mental health difficulties, delivering evidence-based interventions and helping clients achieve meaningful recovery.
The role includes:
- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments.
- Undertaking risk assessments and safeguarding reviews.
- Delivering evidence-based low-intensity CBT interventions.
- Supporting clients presenting with anxiety, depression, stress and related difficulties.
- Monitoring client progress through routine outcome measures.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records.
- Delivering interventions via telephone, video and face-to-face appointments.
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Participating in supervision, case management and service development activities.
What We're Looking ForEssential Criteria
- Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) status or due to qualify shortly.
- Experience working within an NHS Talking Therapies service or equivalent mental health setting.
- Experience conducting assessments and risk assessments.
- Knowledge of evidence-based low-intensity CBT interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- Competent IT skills and experience maintaining clinical records.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience using IAPTUS or similar clinical systems.
- Experience delivering interventions across multiple formats (telephone, video and face-to-face).
- Experience facilitating psychoeducational workshops or group interventions.
