We are an independent used car dealership based in Southampton, looking for a confident, motivated and proactive Car Sales Executive to join our fast-paced sales environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, has a genuine interest in cars, and is comfortable working in a busy dealership where no two days are the same. The ideal candidate will be organised, target-driven and able to deliver a professional customer experience from first enquiry through to vehicle handover.
Responsibilities include:
- Engaging with prospective customers to understand their vehicle needs, budget and preferences
- Presenting and demonstrating vehicles effectively, highlighting key features and benefits
- Handling customer enquiries professionally by phone, email, online leads and face-to-face
- Following up with potential leads via phone calls, emails and in-person meetings to build relationships and convert sales
- Organising appointments for test drives and vehicle viewings
- Ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience throughout the sales process
- Working with the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
- Assisting with vehicle handovers and ensuring customers leave satisfied
- Keeping the showroom, forecourt and vehicles presentable
- Maintaining accurate customer records and following up leads in a timely manner
What we’re looking for:
- Previous car sales experience is preferred, but not essential for the right person
- B2B sales experience is advantageous but not required
- Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- Confident, friendly and comfortable dealing with customers
- Proactive approach with a strong willingness to learn
- Organised, motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Target-driven mindset
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly advantageous, as we deal with a diverse range of customers
Pay: £24,420.00-£66,000.00 per year
