Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic to maintain our golf course equipment and vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and machinery operating at the Golf Clubs. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your mechanical expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring that all equipment operates safely and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical components
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out assembly, repairs, and modifications
- Diagnose faults accurately and implement effective repair solutions
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
- Assist in the assembly of new equipment or vehicle components as required
- Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large or heavy parts or machinery
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and maintenance needs clearly to clients
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Requirements
- Proven experience with vehicle or equipment repair and maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools
- Ability to perform assembly tasks accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of equipment repair procedures and preventive maintenance practices
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive or mechanical engineering are preferred but not essential

Pay: £26,002.27-£40,000.00 per year
