About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Finance & Administration Officer to support our Head of Finance and help keep our operations running smoothly.
This is a varied role combining finance, administration, and office coordination - ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple tasks and wants to contribute to meaningful environmental work.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain financial records using accounting software (Sage)
Process invoices, payments, and expenses
Support payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting
Assist with bank reconciliation and audit preparation
Manage office admin, records, and enquiries
Coordinate meetings and provide general team support
Assist with procurement, HR admin, and Health & Safety processes
About You
Essential:
Strong administration experience
Good MS Office skills (especially Excel)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
Desirable:
Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience with Sage or finance systems
An understanding of GDPR and financial confidentiality
Knowledge of charity finance
