Zega is an independent, community-focused coffee shop in the heart of Kingston upon Thames. We pride ourselves on serving high-quality coffee, delicious homemade food, and providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Barista to join our growing team. We want someone who’s passionate about coffee and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees and teas
- Provide friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable service to every customer
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating areas
- Operate coffee machines and grinders with care and consistency
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory management
- Support the team with general duties such as opening/closing, cleaning, and restocking
Requirements:
- Previous barista or hospitality experience is Required
- A genuine passion for coffee and great customer service
- Friendly, positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Availability for closing shifts is required
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays if needed
- Working during Christmas period is required!
