Do you believe in the transformative power of education?
Join our mission to inspire and empower young people, making a lasting impact on their lives.
At Pivot we believe learners deserve better. We are a specialist independent provision with sites in Kirklees, Wakefield, Bradford and Leeds. In our academies we teach and support learners from Key Stages 1 – 5 who have been excluded from school or those with an EHCP who require a specialist placement. Every day our teams do incredible work, making a huge difference to the lives of complex and challenging learners.
We are currently seeking a conscientious and enthusiastic Administrator to join our Pivot Outreach Programme (POP) provision in Wakefield.
POP is a growing provision designed to support learners with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs who may have become disengaged from education or experienced extended periods out of school. Through a combination of academic, pastoral and community-based learning experiences, we help learners rebuild confidence, overcome barriers to learning and make positive steps towards re-engaging with education.
As an Administrator, you will work within a team to facilitate the smooth and effective running of our school office. You will be one of the main points of contact for parents/carers and other external agencies and have responsibility for ensuring the administrative procedures are operating effectively. The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills and will be very well organised, with the ability to prioritise their workload. Experience in an education setting would be beneficial, although this is not essential for the role. Candidates must also hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle, as the role requires regular travel to Pivot Kirklees sites.
Working at Pivot will give you a real chance to change the lives of our learners and we truly believe you will find working here a rewarding experience.
We offer:
· A supportive and forward-thinking school culture
· Ongoing professional development and support for relevant qualifications
· Focus on wellbeing for all & access to employee assistance programmes
· Flexible working arrangements and early finish Fridays
· Further additional benefits, including blue light card entitlement, eye-test reimbursement, financial wellbeing service, work mobile phone and death in service benefit
