Ethicare Ltd are a private homecare provider delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care across West Yorkshire. Our mission is to support individuals to live independently in their own homes with dignity, safety, and compassion.
We are now seeking an experienced Care Coordinator to join our growing team of coordinators and play a key role in ensuring smooth, reliable care delivery for our service users.
⭐ Key Responsibilities
- Care Scheduling — Allocate and coordinate care visits using Care Planner to ensure continuity and person‑centred support.
- Rostering Management — Match care workers to service‑user needs, ensuring consistency and reliability.
- Contingency Planning — Manage holiday cover, sickness, and emergency calls to maintain service quality.
- On‑Call Support — Participate in on‑call duties as required.
- Communication — Keep staff informed of schedule changes and evolving care needs.
- Shadowing Coordination — Organise shadowing to ensure care workers are fully prepared.
⭐ Essential Experience & Requirements
- 6+ months Care Coordinator experience in domiciliary care
- Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care
- Full UK driving licence + own vehicle
- Understanding of rostering systems and the scheduling process
- Ability to match service‑user needs with the right care worker
- Strong negotiation, communication, and teamworking skills
- Able to work independently and within a team of coordinators
