Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various premises, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Previous experience in hospitality or janitorial services is preferred, but full training will be provided. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, communal areas, and private residences as required
- Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are sanitised according to company standards
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within designated timeframes to meet operational schedules
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning products and equipment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to different working environments and schedules
