About Shrub
Shrub is a growing gardening, landscaping and outdoor works company working across North & East London.
We’re looking for reliable labourers to join us on a casual basis for landscaping and small construction projects. We have work available immediately, with the potential for regular ongoing work for the right people.
The role
Work will vary depending on the project and may include:
- Fencing and decking
- Sleeper beds and raised beds
- Ground preparation and digging
- Moving and loading materials
- Garden clearances
- Demolition and removal work
- Basic construction work
- Mixing concrete and handling aggregates
- Assisting with paving and other landscaping
- Using basic hand and power tools
- Keeping sites clean and organised
You’ll normally be working alongside our team on residential and commercial sites.
This is casual/ad-hoc work, so we cannot guarantee a set number of hours every week. Some projects may be a single day, while others may provide several days of work.
What we’re looking for
Previous landscaping, construction or general labouring experience is preferred.
You should be reliable, physically fit, comfortable with manual outdoor work and able to follow instructions and work efficiently.
Experience with fencing, decking, carpentry, paving, landscaping or construction is particularly useful.
A driving licence is useful but not essential.
Pay
From £14 per hour, depending on experience and ability.
There is potential for higher rates and greater responsibility for people who demonstrate skilled landscaping or construction experience.
Location
Jobs are primarily across North & East London, and applicants must be able to travel to different job sites.
