CLASS 1 HGV STEEL DRIVER£825 GUARANTEED PER WEEK – 55 HOURS

We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver to join our steel transport operation.
This is a full-time position offering the security of 55 guaranteed paid hours every week, giving guaranteed basic gross earnings of £770.00

THE ROLE
The position involves the transportation of steel and associated products, working within industrial and customer sites.
We're looking for a driver who takes safety seriously, looks after their vehicle and equipment, and represents the company professionally when dealing with customers.
Previous steel haulage experience is highly desirable, particularly experience with steel coils, sheet, plate, flatbeds or curtain-side work and load restraint.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Full UK C+E / Class 1 licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and working-time requirements
- Strong safety awareness
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional attitude
- Good vehicle care
- Steel/load-restraint experience preferred
- Ability to work independently
IMPORTANT
Steel haulage is specialist work and safety comes first.
We are looking for someone who understands that a driver has responsibility for ensuring their vehicle and load are safe before leaving site.
