Overview
We are seeking a Seasonal Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly Food and Beverage team here at Wooda - our award winning 5 star, family-run, holiday park.
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant who can be available to cover a minimum of 2 shifts per week. Due to the nature of the role and shift times, the successful candidate will need to be of at least school leaver age.
- Immediate start - mid/end September
- Thursdays 4.30pm -9.30pm
- Sundays 10.00am - 6.00pm
- Additional flexibility would be advantageous
Job role
As a Kitchen Assistant for the season you will work hard behind the scenes supporting with kitchen operations, allowing our cooks to prepare delicious dishes for our guests to enjoy in Yard Bar & Restaurant. This role is about upholding the highest standards of hygiene, and working well in a busy environment. Responsibilities will mainly include food preparation and pot washing, in addition to any other tasks that support the running of the kitchen.
Requirements
- Flexible and reliable
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
- Hardworking and efficient
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures preferable
- Experience is advantageous but not essential
