At On Yer Bike, we are looking for a skilled, hands-on Motorcycle Technician to join our busy workshop team near Aylesbury. Whether you're currently working in an independent workshop, a main dealer, or transitioning from light vehicle mechanics, this is your opportunity to work with some of the world’s most iconic two-wheeled brands: Kawasaki, Ducati, Aprilia, and Moto Guzzi.
What You’ll Be Doing
In our fully equipped workshop, no two days are the same. You will be responsible for:
- Servicing & Maintenance: Carrying out routine servicing, inspection, and maintenance across a wide variety of modern street, adventure, and performance motorcycles.
- Diagnostics & Repairs: Identifying faults and completing efficient mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs.
- Sales Preparation: Preparing new and pre-owned bikes to exacting dealership standards before they go to their new owners.
- Accessory Fitting: Installing official performance parts, luggage systems, exhausts, and aftermarket upgrades.
- MOT Testing: Conducting Class 2 MOT inspections (if qualified, or supported towards qualification).
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven experience working in a motorcycle (or automotive) workshop environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of modern motorcycle mechanics, diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
- Quality & Efficiency: Ability to work neatly, independently, and efficiently while keeping standards high.
- License: Full UK motorcycle license (Class A) is essential.
- MOT Tester: Being an active Class 2 MOT Tester is a bonus, but not essential—we will fully fund and support DVSA MOT training for the right candidate!
