Job Title: Employer Engagement Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + OTE
Due to rapid growth within the business, we’re looking for an Employer Engagement Manager to join our amazing team at Leep Group! This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic organisation making a difference within the community.
We’re looking for a proactive, people‑focused individual who can turn conversations into real job opportunities for adult learners. If you thrive on building relationships, opening doors with employers, and driving employment outcomes, this role gives you the autonomy and energy of business development with the purpose and impact of the FE & Skills sector.
You’ll build employer partnerships, generate vacancies, and connect our learners to sustainable work through sector‑relevant pre‑employment programmes. Your success is defined by the quality of employer relationships you build and the job outcomes you help deliver.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify, engage and convert new employer partners through proactive outreach through proactive outreach (LinkedIn, networking, events, lead‑gen tools, cold calling) to build a consistently strong pipeline of job opportunities for learners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employer decision makers, understanding their recruitment needs and aligning them with the most suitable pre employment programmes.
- Drive positive employment outcomes by securing interview commitments, supporting learners, and ensuring they progress into sustainable work.
- Achieve and exceed employer engagement and job outcome targets, maintaining accurate records, using CRM systems effectively, and contributing to regional and organisational growth.
- Attend employer events, sector exhibitions and networking opportunities to expand our reach, keeping up-to-date with labour‑market trends, employer needs and funding opportunities to support growth to contribute to the overall engagement and growth strategy of the Group.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in a B2B sales environment with proof of winning new business in the FE and training sector.
- Experience of working in educational environments in FE and Skills Sector, especially adult provision, and selling recognised qualifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally.
- Initiative and good decision-making skills, as well as tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
- Commitment to travel, with driving licence and access to own vehicle.

The successful candidate must also complete all pre-employment vetting and will complete safeguarding training during their induction.
