Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our household team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our outdoor spaces, ensuring they are healthy, vibrant, and aesthetically pleasing. . The position is part time ( just 1 day per week) and is paid
Duties
- Planting, pruning, watering, and fertilising various types of plants, shrubs, and trees
- Operating hand tools such as secateurs, spades, and rakes to maintain garden beds and lawns
- Managing weed control and pest management programmes to protect plant health
- Ensuring all outdoor areas are safe, tidy, and visually appealing at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in gardening or horticulture, with a strong understanding of plant care and landscape maintenance
- Ability to identify common pests and diseases affecting plants
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour outdoors in varying weather conditions
- A genuine passion for gardening coupled with a keen eye for detail
