Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Automotive Parts Telesales Advisor to join our sales team.
Automotive Parts Experience Essential
We are ideally looking for someone who is already working within the motor factor or automotive parts industry and has good existing parts knowledge.
This position is aimed at an experienced Parts Advisor or Telesales Advisor who can come into the role with an understanding of automotive parts, parts catalogues and dealing with garage and trade customers.
This is not an entry-level position and previous automotive parts experience is essential.
The Role
Working as part of our busy telesales team, you will deal directly with garages, workshops and trade customers on a daily basis.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling inbound calls from trade customers
- Making outbound sales calls to existing, new and dormant accounts
- Identifying automotive parts quickly and accurately
- Providing customers with prices, stock availability and delivery information
- Preparing and following up quotations
- Processing customer orders accurately
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with trade customers
- Developing existing accounts and increasing customer spend
- Promoting special offers and product ranges
- Upselling and cross-selling relevant products
- Working towards individual and team sales targets
- Providing a high standard of customer service
Who We’re Looking For
We would particularly like to hear from candidates currently working for a motor factor, automotive parts distributor, dealership parts department or similar automotive aftermarket business.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous motor factor or automotive parts experience
- Have strong automotive parts knowledge
- Have experience using electronic parts catalogues
- Be able to identify vehicle parts quickly and accurately
- Understand how to deal with garages, workshops and trade customers
- Be confident and professional on the telephone
- Have a strong sales mentality
- Enjoy building relationships with customers
- Be comfortable working towards sales targets
- Recognise opportunities to increase sales
- Be reliable, organised and motivated
- Work well in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Work well as part of a team
Salary & Bonus
£30000 basic salary per year
In addition to the basic salary, we operate a performance-related bonus scheme, giving you the opportunity to increase your earnings by achieving and exceeding agreed sales targets.
Good performance is recognised and rewarded.
Working Pattern
Full-time, Monday to Friday
The position may also include Saturday working on a rota basis.
Full details of the working pattern and Saturday rota will be discussed during the interview.
