Repairs Planner
We are currently working with a Housing Association to recruit a Repairs Planner on an interim basis to provide an efficient, customer-focused planning and scheduling service for repairs and maintenance activities across the organisation's housing portfolio.
Hourly rate: £20 - £23 (Umbrella)
Contract Length: 8 months
Hours: Full time Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 16:00 / 09:30 – 17:30
2 Days on Site
Location: North London
Key responsibilities:
- Provide advice, guidance and support to internal and external customers through multiple communication channels including telephone, email, text, digital services and written correspondence
- Manage customer expectations in line with the organisation's service offer, policies and procedures
- Diagnose repair requests and schedule repair works and home visits for Property Services and Relationship Management teams
- Plan resources and capacity to ensure efficient service delivery
- Schedule and coordinate repair and maintenance work to ensure completion within required timescales and quality standards
- Manage operatives' diaries and appointments, liaising effectively with residents, contractors and colleagues
The successful candidate will
- Experience in planning, scheduling or coordination, ideally within social housing or repairs/maintenance
- Strong understanding of responsive repairs processes, contractor management, and performance-driven service delivery
- Willingness to obtain a Basic DBS
